What Thermal Inversion Means
It means that the thermometer outside my upstairs window reads -10F/-23C, the one outside my downstairs window reads -20F/-29C, and the one at the bottom of my hill on the ski trail reads -30F/-34C.
So I wonder which one is accurate? I can understand the one away from your house gets no heat and is even colder
ReplyDeleteIs it causing problems with the smoke from peoples' fires/traffic pollution?
DeleteThey are all accurate! It's a temperature inversion, because the air is so cold and still. Yes, the pollution is bad in town.
