Rest in Peace, Carl Cochrane

It was a good run.

  1. Interesting but strange soul. I hope him RIP too. As a carpenter and being a guy, he had the "basics" to live in such an environment.

  2. Really glad there is a TOK store. Rainbow Grocery is the first health product store we went together. I like TOK's website.

  3. I read your Chicken diary again, it is an interesting place. I mostly wander if that postal master has any childrn and where do they get education.

  4. What a lovely obituary. I'd be interested in reading more about him - maybe someone will write a book about the Quest trek and its history.

Also thanks for the writeup on ChickenFest(?) ChickenPalooza(?) ChickenLickin(?) haha, jk. Yes, I'm pretty sure those postal kids are home-schooled - probably a pretty common thing in Alaska, I'd think. Don't get me started on homeschoolers, but I imagine it's just about the only way to do it if you like the isolated life.
