My CSA begins...
The good folks at Rosie Creek Farm informed us that the record-late spring and slow thaw will make for a lean beginning to the season. Nevertheless, I welcomed my greenhouse-grown salad greens and braising greens.

Good food, don't forget the calcium, iron and protein food. How about organic yogurt and boiled egg (less than 3 per week)? plus sprinkles of pumpkin seeds?
That's great news! I hope your CSA is able to withstand this season's poor weather. I wouldn't want to be a farmer anywhere in this country - no rain here in California, depleted ground water everywhere...it's been rough lately for all the farmers.
