Buh-bye, geese!
After we had a single morning of frost (and none since), the geese took of en masse. Here is one small group:
KC said, "Geese are basically tourists. Show up in the summer, be loud, be obnoxious, and flee to warmer parts as soon as frost sets in."

KC was right except geese don't spend a penny on vacations.
I like our human tourists. Most of them are about 80 years old and have saved up their entire lives to visit Alaska, so they are very happy and excited.

Also, Linden gets extra attention!
Where did they get to spend their money? No "real" restaurant, no expensive stores, no casinos... Mosquitos and snow are free.
Well, the biggest vacation cost is generally the airfare and lodging... Mosquitoes are just a bonus!
Lodging.. not everyone knows Arvay.
