Ugh they are here!

The first generation of skeeters every spring is comprised of these huge, slow ones that are just waking up from having overwintered. We call them "practice" skeeters. I can sometimes kill them without contacts or glasses on! After this generation dies, they tiny, fast ones come out, and we need to be in top smackin' shape!





Look! They are being all warm and fuzzy and ree-laxed!

Those are HUGE mosquitos. I live in Florida and we have a lot of them but not that big. I hope you have a lot of fly swatters handy!
