We went for a quick walk up Wickersham Dome, and brrrrr! I'm sorry to say that I didn't wear enough clothes, so had to cut our hike short. Don't the girls look happy, though?

A cold day on Wickersham Dome
Tomorrow is the first official day of Fall, and today, it got cold. At 9 a.m., there was still frost on the ground, but it was lovely to walk on frozen mud instead of slipping and sliding around.
We went for a quick walk up Wickersham Dome, and brrrrr! I'm sorry to say that I didn't wear enough clothes, so had to cut our hike short. Don't the girls look happy, though?

I read that we're going to get patchy snow above 1000ft. I know we're about on-average for this time of year, but it feels chilly for some reason.
The girls look so happy! I bet they look forward to that weather all summer long. It's still in the mid to high 80's here...but at least the humidity has dropped!
I feel colder, too. I think it's because our bodies take time to re-acclimate each Winter. When we get these kinds of temperatures in Spring, we feel it is warm!
And Christy, they sure do! Not to mention that they are getting fluffy again. It's so cute!
Those are beautiful dogs! Love em.
Regarding spring: it is amazing how cold +20 F feels in the fall, and how warm 0 F feels in the spring. Well, at least that's what I remember :)
looks cooooold!
