Why we have such great Thai food
Fairbanks has a big enough Southeast Asian community to host a Thai Laos festival.

Yum. One of the best curries I ever had was from a Laotian restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin, of all places. It was a coconut yellow curry with big chunks of kabocha pumpkin in it. Excellent stuff.
It seems that communities of immigrants show up in surprising reasons due to historical reasons. And once they establish ties, we get to partake of their food. :) Have you seen the movie Gran Torino? If not, you ought to rent it. It's really good.

I wonder why you have not advertised to teach children Hawaiian dance? I can send you music CD.
