Brrrrrr!!! The forecast called for a dip into -30 and -40 temperatures today! However, there was a temperature inversion, and we stayed relatively warm in the hills. That is, if you can call this "warm".
We did a shortened morning run. Cricket wore her booties.
The daytimes are sure beautiful in this deep cold. There is something special about the quality of light.
And the dogs seem to be enjoying retirement, don't you think? I sure hope they are comfy.
And Her Royal Highness Queen Thistle lets me hug her now! It is SO great, because she is SO fuzzy.
Her payoff is daily aaaaaaaapples!
Cricket also gets Crazy-Eyes!

The girls are looking particularly comfy & happy in their retirement:) Not that cold here though quite foggy- we're enjoying peaceful walks through it while admiring the lights and decorations gracing the neighborhood.
