Lovely sunny day in the White Mountains

I love this time of year! When the sun hits your skin, you actually feel... warmth! Photons! Exciting!

H, JK2, DL, Autumn, Linden, and I headed out to the White Mountains for the day. The lovely weather had brought out some half dozen mushers, a handful of skiers and bike riders, and a dozen or so snowmachiners. We opted to remain on foot:

While my elderly ladies dashed way ahead:

Undetermined tracks:

Autumn trotting along:

Happy smiling doggies!

Obligatory shot of Wickersham Dome:

And the mountains to the North:

JK2 and H:

DL and the girls and me:

Three! Three fuzzy things for me! Ah, ah, ah! Vahnderful!

Linden gives me adoring looks:

Rather a picturesque lunch spot. Autumn sez, "Helllooooo, Uncle J! Nice sammich!"

Linden sez, "Helllooooo, Aunty H! I like your sammich!"

Ladies who lunch:

Lovely Miss Autumn:

The descent from our lunch hill:

Walking bird (grouse?):

Ze teeny leetle beety vole tracks:

Gig-normous paws! Wolf? Malamute? BEAST?

More grouse tracks:

Another tiny critter... skwerl?

This is a HUGE dog truck!

Whew! Are we pooped!
