Official UAF Doorknob Cozy
The doorknobs to our ATCO trailers at work were freezing shut and wouldn't unlock, so we called Facilities Services to come do something about it. What they did was this:
They informed us to keep these duct-tape-lined beauties on the knobs at all times to prevent freezeup.

Yeah for duck tape :) Yeah for service man. Remember JF used to laugh at engineers?
If you can't fix it with duct tape, it aint worth fixin' - as my friend from Newfoundland would have said. He was a wizard at repairing everything from watches to big Cats and I'm sure he left behind a considerable amount of that silvery stuff in different places...
