The mooncakes we get in Fairbanks are very beautifully packaged. I feel guilty about the packaging waste. Maybe I'll just need to start my own Chinese bakery. :)

You have the talent and ability to start your own bakery, not sure if Chinese bakery. Your "products" were highly appreciated and quickly consumed by CH, JE, SE and me. Yummy Happy belated Moon Day. Too busy for the rushy move.
One was black bean paste with nothing else (no pine nuts, or egg yolk). CH and I would have LOVED that when we were kids. I don't know why we hated the additions so much!

Forgot to ask, what flavor???
Had you been giving the opportunity, you could have been a baker or poet.

The other was lotus seed paste with an egg yolk.
