It was Chinese August Moon Day on Sunday. The moon is supposed to be the fullest on that day and families get together to share moon cakes and fall fruits. I am glad you noticed it.
Is G a photographer? Your photos are getting really impressive. Or perhaps it's just practice practice practice. The birch trees against that sky are just lovely.

Why, thank you! No, G only takes photos for fun with his phone. I think we camera-carriers are a dying breed.
