Veggies for the week
Farmer Mike informed me that the way they make the eggplants is that they graft them onto tomato bases. Very cool, what?
Edited to add: You must watch this. I insist.

Hi tech! I had no idea that tomatoes and eggplants were that compatible - I knew they were related, but didn't know they could frankenstein like that. Wow!
Did your friendly farmer have any suggestion for that tough flowering green on the left? I see it's reappeared in your csa box...
