Sled dogs on a boat

K was nice enough to send these photos from last weekend.

Autumn and Linden are both uncomfortable when they don't have traction, so they weren't thrilled about getting into this plastic boat, but after they were in, they quite enjoyed the ride.

One of Alan and Rika's favorite books is called "Go Dog, Go!". It's all about cartoon dogs doing things, mostly driving cars fast. There are a couple of pages about dogs in boats on the water. Any chance you could make your dogs play checkers or use binoculars? The kids would be thrilled! Oh, and if you could dye the doggies red and blue, that'd complete the picture. Y'know, simple request.

Photos look beautiful. Daylight till past 11? Wonderful! How long till the blueberries come out?

They come out in late July or early August.

I've been trying for a while to get Autumn to wear my glasses for a photograph. I think she'd make a great granny wolf for red riding hood! But she doesn't think so!

This is Chena Lake, about 20 minutes from Fairbanks, on a good road. I'll take you there this weekend. :)
