On the transition from the Silicon to the Tanana Valley, from urban to rural life, and from working in industry to being a full-time student to working in academia. If you see your name or photo on this blog and want it removed, please let me know and I will do so!
Pretty much yeah. I have one coworker who has no dogs, and he likes the office dogs best! He sighs over them and tells them how much he misses his old dog...
Great blog! I just stumbled on it while browsing a collection of wildlife images that came up in a google search. I noticed a photo from the AFES farm of a reindeer calf nurseing and followed it back. You've taken alot of great photos. Anyways I just wanted to give you a thumbs up, it is an interesting journal of your Alaskan adventure. Im the It guy for the Reindeer Program.
Thanks for the compliments! Are you by any chance the guy who let me into the pen last spring in attempt to cuddle a baby reindeer calf, only to have them all run away from me? It was the most disappointing day of my life! If so, I appreciate your kindness, although you (or he) *knew* I wouldn't be able to catch one!
