Loot from the Farmer's Market
Here are some of the veggies I got this week:
turnip greens, spinach, salad mix, and a few radishes from last week that I forgot to photograph when they were fresh.

Looks yummy, especially those turnip greens - I'd turn them into quick pickles and eat them over rice!
How are your strawberries doing? I imagine it would be easy to grow your own lettuces, except maybe for the marauding moose that visit you. Speaking of which, you haven't written about any moose visiting your house lately - have they been staying away with the scent of dogs?
Oh good idea about the turnip greens. I've been trying to decide what to do with them.
The strawberries and basil are doing fine. They are in containers right by the front door, to stave off not just marauding meese but also snowshoe hares. I actually haven't seen a moose since breakup, but I still see their marbles around. They go up to higher elevations in the Summer.
