Smiles
I recently read a study in which the author purported that humans and dogs have co-evolved. That is, not only did the dogs that got along better with people have higher survival rates, but the people that got along better with dogs had higher survival rates as well. I wonder if that's why most people find dogs so cute. It's just a natural instinct to be drawn to our faithful companions.

When you look at them, you have a smile and you are happy. That contributes to your better health.
Yes, I'd heard that people with pets tend to live longer and happier lives.
Evolution is so interesting. I wonder if humans are especially attuned to dog barks? I think humans are very sensitive to primal stuff like the smell of stuff burning, the sound of water. Perhaps if we mixed a whole bunch of random noises together with a dog barking we'd be able to pick out the dog bark right away?
I too read an article and saw a documentary about dogs and humans evolving together. Dogs are the fastest evolving of all animals and there are more breads of dogs than any other animal.
I’m also honored that you would add a link from my blog to yours. Thanks.
I hope you drop by from time to time.
