They don't stink more than any other hoofed animals I've been around (horses, sheep, reindeer, etc). Are you thinking of the musk from musk deer? Oh, I've never been around one that's worked up though! Haha. We went to visit them yesterday. No babies yet.

That's funny. Aren't the reindeer noses supposed to be red and shiny?
On a more serious note, how stinky are musk oxen? I've heard that when they get worked up they can let off a pretty powerful smell?

I wonder if baby musk oxen go through an ugly teenager stage with silly long lengs and goofy haircuts. :)
