Well, it's mid 40s F today, and is supposed to be mid 50s F all next week. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am, it's Spring!
The snow is melting and dripping off our roof, making it sound as if it's raining. The recent snow, which made possible some awesome late-season skiing when it was fresh, is now wet and packable, and yesterday I gave our Thanksgiving snowman a new head. I also made a snow-woman, complete with giant boobs (the snow is so packable now that it can support cantilevered structures!), and a snow-husky, sitting at the side of the snow-couple. But that was yesterday, and today, the heads rolled off both snowmen, and the husky lost his ears one by one, and then finally his head as well. :)

Last night, DJ and I watched a Discovery Channel special called "Expedition Alaska". There were several groups of scientists/explorers who were surveying the effects of global warming on such things as the Juneau Ice Field (SO COOL, btw), and certain animals that have become so adapted to the cold weather, that they are dying off because of rising ambient temperatures.
VERY interesting and eye-opening program. And *goodness*, Alaska is beautiful!
How are you? Busy? Hope you are all well. Have a great day/night
