So here we have the two sisters lounging together:
They have matching smiles!
Autumn's look Linden's first night. "Who is that on my bed?"
Four round fuzzballs:
Here are these two neighborhood dogs who visit us when we are out running/walking/skiing on the trail. They used to be nice to visit, but lately this puppy has been following us. It's quite a nuisance because I always worry that she'll be hit by a car wandering the roads after us. She used to return to their home when the white dog barked after her, but lately she's been ignoring her "mom (I'm not sure if it's her biological mom)." Any suggestions? I've tried shouting at her to leave, but she won't. And my girls encourage her. It's actually really sweet, but I have to pretend not to be charmed. But they look after her, herding her away from the mean dogs in our neighborhood, waiting for her when she falls behind, etc, etc. But we are NOT keeping her! This morning Dan had to drive her back, because we just couldn't shake her off.
Linden running with her new pal!
Mama dog says, "Ayaaaaahhh!"
"Look, ma! We got us a puppy!"
Here is a photo from our snowy spring morning I had told you about:

I don't quite get why whitey and puppy are free roaming enough that they can come along with Linden and Autumn. Why aren't they inside? Or confined some how???
Also, more pictures, please. And, how does Bun feel about Linden?
Rawr!
Yes!! This is the ultimate happy dog picture!

We live in Ester! Half the dogs in the neighborhood run free! But adult dogs are smart enough to stay near their homes. This puppy was, too, until she decided that the charms of mine were too much to resist! The white dog did a good job looking after her for a while, but now she effectively sighs, shakes her head, and then goes on home, leaving us with puppy!
