Giant Veggies!

Do they taste as good as they look? Are there smaller ones or they only produce big ones? It must have something to do with the 24 hour sunlight. Poor guys thought it was still daytime and kept on growing.
They mostly don't taste any different from California produce to me, with a few exceptions. Carrots and potatoes taste better here (sweeter), but tomatoes taste worse (they are kind of hard and not as flavorful) I've heard that the giant cabbages taste terrible, but I've never tried any. The strawberries and basil from my planter taste exactly the same!
