Mine really dislike heat, but for some reason they do enjoy the sunbeams that come into the relatively cool house. As for being lovey with each other, Linden adores physical contact, in any way she can get it. So she sits down next to Autumn. Then lies down. Then creeps ever closer... Autumn almost always moves away after a few minutes. :)
Interesting. The picture further proved your words. See how Autumn turned her face away and Linden's paw was on top of Autumn's after Autumn has laid down hers first.

My dogs always go for the sun beams, too! They are never lovey enough to hold paws though - how cute!
