Wild roses
Wild roses are now blooming everywhere.
They grow in crazy brambles where there is partial sun:
Oh well, at least you tried and tasted it. Almost all herbal teas only "smell" but no taste. I wonder if anyone makes pineapple tea, that must taste somewhat like pineapple. I say pineapple has the most dominent smell and taste among all fruits. You add some pineapples into a salad, you only taste it..
How about those so-called fruit-flavored herbal teas that have the flowers of the fruit? For example, orange blossom or apple blossom. Are we really supposed to find that the flowers taste like the fruit?
I drink herbal and fruit leaf teas every day. Tea/coffee are so strong it takes a while to learn to taste more delicate flavours - but if you stick with them, you'll get there.
Fresh nettle tea is good, if you get nettles where you are, that is ;-)

Have a wonderful day
Are you going to collect the rosehips and make rosehip jam?
Thanks! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
As for rosehip jam, I'm not sure that's worth the bother... my rosehip tea last year tasted a lot like water!

I just found a recipe for hibiscus blossom water. Going to try it.
