7 a.m. on a non-workday
With apologies to the incomparably more talented Allie Brosh of Hyperbole and a Half.
Yes, the Barbarians are at this stage right now. #1 wakes up first, at 6:30 (we call him the rooster). #2 wakes up shortly thereafter. Then they run off to play. Dave and I stumble out of bed about 7:30 or so when the Barbarians wake us up to feed them. Usually the cat, who is pleased to have Dave all to herself and has fallen asleep on his legs, is annoyed and mrrrrrrowwwws at them. But it only calls attention to herself and the Barbarians proceed to poke at both Dave and the cat until he is out of bed.
