where were their tents? We used to put all tents next to each other when we used to camping in my college years. I guess for conveniences and safety.
Yes, next to each other is normal, but you can only see about ten inches on either side of my tent in that photo. Putting a tent within one foot of another tent is a little closer than necessary!
is the scarf on your head to prevnt mosquito bites?
No; the scarf is because I have so many little flyaway hairs that they drive me nuts hanging in my face!
