The Tea Index

I have devised The Tea Index, which sorts Alaskan communities by size and populace:

If you are at a roadhouse/gas station/store and ask for a cup of tea and are told that they don't have tea, only coffee: You are in a White people tiny town.

If you are at a roadhouse/gas station/store and ask for a cup of tea and are very apologetically told that they only have Lipton or Red Rose, and is that okay?: You are in a White people small town.

If you are at a roadhouse/gas station/store and ask for a cup of tea and are proudly given Lipton or Red Rose with no apology or squeamishness: You are in a Native village.

If you are at a roadhouse/gas station/store and ask for a cup of tea and are offered a spread of some half dozen different types of tea: You are in a big city!

Not bad, eh? :)

lol If you ask for tea and are offered the choice of standard black tea, Early Grey, green tea, peppermint tea, chamomile, liquorice, raspberry, strawberry, dandelion, nettle, Moroccan spiced and probably a few others, then you are in my house ;-)

I think I'd like your house, Debs! I've mistyped "Early Grey" frequently. I wonder what it means about us? :)
