On the transition from the Silicon to the Tanana Valley, from urban to rural life, and from working in industry to being a full-time student to working in academia. If you see your name or photo on this blog and want it removed, please let me know and I will do so!
Mine is a funny response to those stickers that say "My lead dog is smarter than your honor student." It'll be hilarious if in a few years, we start seeing stickers that say, "My pet dog is smarter than your wheel dog." And then later, "My goldfish is smarter than your pet dog." And then, "My mosquitoes are smarter than your goldfish." :)
The wheel dogs are the ones in the back of the team. They are the strongest and do most of the pulling. Not much intelligence is required of them since they just follow the dogs in front. :)
Linden was a wheel dog, and even now when we skijor I keep her line shorter than Autumn's, because I want Autumn to lead. Linden is smart enough, though--neither as dumb as she looks nor as dumb as the "all brawn, no brain" stereotype. But she's definitely the least mentally gifted of her siblings. :)
SHE is smarter than other babies. Just starting today, SHE started "singing" to herself and fell asleep in the morning walk. In the afternoon, she was fussy for about 10 seconds after being put in the car seat, then started "singing" again ( a longer cheerful and repeating iiii-yaaaa sound) for one minute, SHE fell asleep again.

You showed me yours, I guess I can show you mine.
Yours beats the pants off the "honor student" sticker, for sure.
That's a good one!

It's when you feed them too much, and they end up round ;-P
Hey, my beagle represents that comment, Debs.
She's a round hound... the wheels on her bu(tt) go round and round...
