Alaskan Blue Sky, and Fuzzy Reindeer

Blue sky on top of our ridgeline:

Detail from above photo:

True blue!

Two-day-old behbeh reindeer sprawling by his mama:

And cuddling with her:

The other reindeer follow me as best they can along the fence, and stare at me, making me feel like a movie star in an alternate universe.

I started my seeds today. Let there be peas on earth, and let them begin with me!

So what'd you start growing? If you can manage a good spot, the stronger the light, the sturdier the plant - otherwise you get long spindly seedlings. And even better if you set the seed tray on something warm.

Wish I could send you some of my tomato plants, but I don't think they'd produce by the time the winter set in.

Only two types of tomatoes--4th of July and Northern exposure, peas, several summer squashes, several winter squashes, and basil. I circled some other things in the Burpee's catalogue... I'm going to have to place that order soon!
