The White Mountains Today

The White Mountains were just bee-yoo-ti-ful today... There was just the barest dusting on the ground, the slop and the creek were freezing up nicely, and there was frost growing on the low ground cover. It wasn't even windy on top of the dome. It was just so perfect.

Our first glimpse of Wickershame Dome:

The slop is freezing!

Although the creek isn't quite passable yet:

Linden and me goofing off:

I really cannot recall a more beautiful day, even with my recent backpacking trips down South, where the majority of tourists go. They just don't know what they are missing. Ssshhhh! Don't tell. :)

Never knew you enjoy hiking so much, much better than marathon.
