Wickersham Dome

The flooding had made the river too dangerous, so they had quit at Ruby, shipped their canoe home by barge, and flown home themselves. I'm sorry that they had to cut their grand adventure short, but I'm happy for and proud of them that they had the presence of mind to avoid the dangers of high water and swallow their disappointment. True Alaskans they are indeed!

We went hiking on Wickersham Dome. They look great!

It was foggy up on the dome
